Shanghai's Metro Authority Apologizes To Kissing Couple Caught On Tape

fter conducting an internal investigation, Shanghai's metro rail authority found out that their staff was responsible for proliferating the video of couple caught kissing on tape. A formal apology has been issued to the couple, who are now Youtube bred celebrities. Based on the company's investigation, three staff members were found responsible for taping and uploading the video of the couple. Two of of the staffmembers have resigned already, while the other one has been dismissed.

Chinese Couple To Sue Metro Operator Over Torrid Kiss Video

Chinese couple caught on tape engaged in a torrid kiss is suing Shanghai Metro Co. for violation of privacy as their videotaped kissing engagement found its way to popular video-sharing websites such as YouTube. com. The video was shot at the Youyi subway station sometime in September and has received many 'hits' (15,000 in a couple of days) on the Internet, embarrassing the young couple immensely. In fact, the man in the video has resigned from his job after receiving many phone calls and snide remarks from relatives, friends and strangers alike.

Japanese Train Commuters Get Free Rides After Ticket Gates Malfunction

Thousands of Japanese commuters got a free train ride to work at 662 railway and subway stations in the Tokyo area on Friday morning, local newspapers reported. Train operators allowed the commuters to pass through 4,400 electronic ticket gates that temporarily failed to operate without using their prepaid access cards. The decision to give the passengers free access was to avoid confusion during rush hour.
