A beagle named Belle has become the first canine to be awarded with Vita Wireless Samaritan Award. Belle received the award for saving her owner's life by dialing 911 that alerted emergency services to timely reach his owner who had collapsed due to a diabetic seizure. "There is no doubt in my mind that I'd be dead if I didn't have Belle," said Weaver, 34, whose blood sugar had dropped dangerously low.

A Massachusetts politician wants to create a law banning Marshmallow Fluff from being offered during lunch in school cafeterias more than one day per week. State Senator Jarrett Barrios was livid when he leaned the cafeteria at his son's school serves Marshmallow Fluff, which he points out is about half sugar and perhaps shouldn't even be categorized as a food.

According to CBS, for a mere $4. 50 it's breakfast, dinner, and a little dessert all in one. That it packs up to 1,000 calories - the donut alone has 10 grams of sugar - doesn't seem to faze diabetic diner Floyd Schuetz, who says, "Oh, I'll have another one of these. "
