A 42-year-old Briton has hanged himself in front of a webcam watched by many users in an internet chatroom. The man identified as Kevin Whitrick, a father of two children. He had separated from his wife Paula, who lives nearby with their children. According to media reports, one online chatter, in light mood, urged him: "Go on, jump! I'm waiting. Look at him wriggling, he can't even kill himself properly!"

Bus passengers in Israel's second largest city are learning to relax while on their way to work. The initiative is taken by Miri Harovi, a 21-year veteran yoga teacher, who guides passengers to perform a set of relaxation exercises while sitting. According to reports, the passengers perform breathing exercises and those which involve movement of upper body parts as Harovi directs them through a microphone.

A Halloween prop left behind by a young man, who had dressed up as a suicide bomber, sparked a bomb scare in Bergen, Norway's second largest city. The package, with wires sticking out of it, was found on a car parked outside the Alrek student dormitory the morning-after the Halloween. After the suspicious package was reported to the police, the dormitory and the surrouncing area surrounding were evacuated and bomb experts from Oslo summoned. The bomb squad flew 185 miles by helicopter to assess the threat.

Police have received hundreds of tips, have searched the Ocala National Forest to no avail, and will now begin looking at local alligators stomachs in the search for two-year-old Trenton Duckett. Marion County Sheriff's Office has requested the search of one eight-foot alligator's stomach. The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission said they will be looking for bone, fabric, and hair inside the animal.
