As a delivery man for Galactic Pizza, Cameron Evans dons a superhero costume of orange tights and a black cape and boots before he goes on his delivery rounds as "Luke Pie Rocker." Little did he know a purse snatcher would provide him with a real opportunity to save the day.

The AP reports Teresa Skarman, 55, was walking home Tuesday night when a man grabbed her bag. She screamed for help, and Evans took off after the snatcher.

Evans and two bystanders were able to corner the thief in an alley and let him go in exchange for the purse.

Skarman says she is grateful to Evans, a 26-year-old student at Minneapolis Community and Technical College.

"He's my hero," she says.
