This holiday season don't feel so guilty when you re-wrap that pink sweater your aunt gave you last year and give it to a friend. According to one survey, all Americans do it.
More than half Americans have re-gifted and 78 percent said they thought it was acceptable for others to re-gift some or most of the time during a poll.
Harris Interactive surveyed more than 1,000 Americans and were surprised that re-gifting was no longer taboo after half found it to be commonplace.
Spokeswoman Nancy Wong told Reuters, "It's not something I've thought about and when I saw that nearly half had done it -- 52 percent have re-gifted and or would re-gift -- it's quite a significant number."
