OH Reinstates Disabled Football Player

A high school football player born without legs was back on the field Saturday after being removed by a referee in a game earlier this month. Colonel White High School senior Bobby Martin, who was born without legs, was sidelined Sept. 16 during a game for not being "fully equipped."

Martin played in his team's previous three games as a member of the punt return squad, using his arms to move down the field.

Cheerleaders Help Police In Hit And Run Accident

Local police officers were able to catch a man, who fled an accident site, with the help of some cheerleaders. The cheerleaders witnessed the accident and created a cheer using the license plate numbers.

The Lincoln High School varsity cheerleading squad saw the debris from the accident close to the University of Michigan campus.

Parents Send Rugby Coach To Hospital After Surprise Attack

Police are seeking criminal charges against several adults who attacked a rugby coach, leaving him bloody and unconscious. 55-year old Craig Stewart was kicked in the face and head during a girls' rugby game Saturday.

The fight began after the referee ordered a spectator off the field and was punched in the face three times by the brother of the opposing team's coach. Stewart, attempting to help the referee, intervened and held the attacker on the ground until poice arrived. That's when the attacker's brother and up to eight other adults ambushed Stewart.
