Bad Hair Cut Costs Salon $2,000

A hair cut that went a little too far has cost a Tokyo hair salon over $2,000. A female customer has sued the hair salon for cutting her hair too short and dying it the wrong color.

A Tokyo court agreed with the 27-year-old cabaret club hostess's claim that the unflattering hairstyle had affected her ability to do her job, the English language Daily Yomiuri newspaper said on Thursday.

Honda Unveils Dog-Friendly Vehicle Model

The latest venture by Honda Motor Co. involves a dog-friendly car design. The W.O.W. Concept, which stands for "wonderful openhearted wagon," is an exhibition model with no plans for commercial sale.

The model will be exhibited at the Tokyo auto show later this month. A special crate for dogs in the glove compartment allows owners to interact with their pets while driving. A bigger crate pops up from the floor in the back seat area and can be folded back into the floor when it's not needed. Even bigger dogs can be buckled up with a special seat belt from the floor.

Hitman Fails To Do Job

A Japanese woman has been arrested after calling the police when a hitman she hired to kill her lover's girlfriend failed to do the job. The 32-year-old woman from Tokyo was arrested for incitement to murder, the Daily Yomiuri newspaper reports.

The woman hired a private detective she found on the internet to get rid of her rival who she suspected of seeing her lover. She paid the detective 1 million yen to do the job. When the detective failed to murder the woman, she called the police in frustration and was then arrested, along with the detective.
