Women Develop A "Disordered Way Of Eating" When They Hit 40
A survey states that more than half of women develop a 'disordered way of eating' when they hit 40. Top Sante magazine conducted the survey, and they found that 6 out of 10 women over 40 are not concerned about issues regarding their weight. More than that, 3.5 of 10 dislike or hate their bodies and 7 out of 10 said they would prefer to go back to their figures before they added on the weight.
Florida Woman Sues Bacardi After Being Doused With Flaming Rum
A woman who was allegedly severely burned during a Bacardi promotion is suing the wine and spirit-making company. She claims the product is defective and dangerous. Danielle Alleyne filed a lawsuit in Miami-Dade County Circuit Court stating that she was injured after she was doused with flaming rum at a Miami nightclub in August 2002.
World's Most Expensive Tequila Sold For $225,000
A private collector on Saturday announced that it has sold a bottle of "ultra-premium" Tequila for a whopping $225,000. The sale for the beverage bottled in a gold and platinum casing, has made it the most expensive for a drink in the world. Without disclosing the name of the buyer, Tequila Ley .925 said the bottle had been sold to a U.S.-based wine collector.
Engineers Discover 1,500-year-old Byzantine Port
Turkish Engineers discovered the ruins of an ancient Byzantine port as they drilled a huge underground rail tunnel. The ancient port, which is at least 1500 years old, harbored abandoned buildings, crumbling walls, trash and broken wine bottles. It is common for residents of most great historic cities to uncover important relics each time they dig deep into the earth. But there was more to the uncovering of the ancient port in the Yenikapi neighborhood.
