Russell Crowe stripped off and "wallowed" in mud with Cate Blanchett for their latest film. The stars are currently filming "Robin Hood" - based on the legend of the British outlaw - in the U.K. and have had a number of unusual experiences.

Russell, who plays title character Robin in the movie, said: "So far we have ridden horses together, seen off bad guys, got naked (partially) wallowed chin deep in mud, danced by firelight, attended a funeral and kissed. What can I say? It's an interesting gig."

Voters in the Swiss Alps have decided to ban naked hiking from the region in response to dozens of mostly German nudists started roaming the scenic region.

The local government recommended the ban after citizens complained about seeing nude hikers, mostly Germans, around their town, Australia's Herald Sun reported.
