Scarlett Johansson's Used Tissue To Be Auctioned For Charity

Scarlett Johansson's used tissue is to be auctioned for charity. The actress, who was plagued by a terrible cold when she appeared on U.S. TV talk show "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno," left behind the tissue and now network NBC has decided to sell it on website eBay to raise money for food-gathering charity USA Harvest.

The actress is not the only famous face to have an unusual personal item sold on eBay.

Senate Seat Bid On eBay Starts At $100,000

Allegations that Illinois Gov. Rod Blagojevich tried to sell the U.S. Senate seat left vacant by president-elect Barack Obama has sparked sales of senate seats on eBay in a mockery of the scandal.

One such sale posted by an eBay member named lizzesmom1 offers a folding chair with the sign "US Senate Illinois" at a starting bid price of $100,000. The auction runs until January 8, 2009 and the winning bidder can claim the item in Ann Arbor, Michigan.

Three Arkansas Caves For Sale On eBay

An Arkansas landowner has placed three Ozark Mountains caves on the online auction block, hoping to sell them for at least $899,999.

The Mystic Caverns that Steve Rush, 49, is selling on eBay comes with a gift shop. Two of the caves located on Rush's 28-acre property near Harrison are a popular tourist destination, attracting 15,000 visitors each year.

Thousands of used picnic tables are up for sale on eBay by the Forest Preserve District of Cook County for $15 to the general public or $10 to non-profit organizations.

All wooden picnic tables are being sold in 'as-is' condition. The tables cost $300 new and are being replaced by cheaper, heavier, harder to vandalize models.

Moller International is auctioning its first flying car type aircraft on eBay, saying it is in perfect condition, in the same configuration as it flew during its international press flight and is expected to appreciate in value as production models go on sale.

"The M200X was the first flying car type vehicle to successfully demonstrate that it was possible to hover and maneuver a personal VTOL aircraft by someone with virtually no pilot training," the company said in a statement on the auction site.
