A Boston trolley conductor was text messaging his girlfriend when he crashed into the back of another trolley Friday night on the city's Green Line.

Almost 50 people had to be hospitalized as a result of the crash and the city's Central Station had to be shut down. The conductor had 22 months on the job, a Metropolitan Boston Transit Authority official, who spoke on condition of anonymity, told the Boston Globe.

Sarah Jessica Parker is expecting twin daughters through a surrogate pregnancy. The "Sex and the City" star, who already has a six-year-old son James Wilkie with husband Matthew Broderick, is thrilled at the prospect of welcoming the two girls later this year.
