Michael Jackson has demanded all the children in his choir know sign language. The "Thriller" singer is due to kick-off his 50-date residency at London's O2 arena next month and has sent an email telling promoters AEG the requirements he wants for his team of young singers.

A source said: "Normally when we cast choirs for acts, it's quite a laborious task. But in this case, it's proving a near impossibility. Jackson is a perfectionist and wants it exactly right and that means every child being able to do sign language."

Japanese Scientists Create First Transgenic Monkeys With Skin That Glows Green

Japanese scientists have created the world's first transgenic monkeys that can pass to their offspring genes that make their skin glow a fluorescent green, according to the journal Nature.

The scientists successfully integrated the GFP gene of a jellyfish into the DNA of the common marmoset, said the research published in this week's issue of the science magazine. Monkeys born to the genetically-engineered marmoset inherited the GFP genes so the skin on the soles of their feet also glows green when exposed to ultraviolet light.
