Plane Forced To Land In New Mexico After Passenger Strips Naked
A U.S. Airways flight bound for Los Angeles was forced to land in Albuquerque Tuesday night after a passenger stripped naked and refused to get dressed. A 50-year-old man, Keith Anthony Wright, is being held by the FBI in New Mexico for interfering with a flight. He allegedly took off his clothes while seated at the back of the plane and refused to put them on despite repeated requests from the crew.
Retired U.S. Navy Warship Sunk In Florida Keys To Become World's Second-Largest Artificial Reef
Decommissioned U.S. Navy warship USNS General Hoyt S. Vandenberg was sunk Wednesday morning 6 ˝ miles off Key West in the Florida Keys National Marine Sanctuary to become the world's second-largest artificial coral reef. A total 42 explosive charges were used to create a pattern of holes in the side of the ship and its decks sending it 140 feet deep into its final resting place in the Gulf of Mexico in less than two minutes. The Artificial Reefs of the Keys led the $8.6 million project to make the Vandenberg an artificial reef.

Las Vegas is known for its wild reputation and even wilder ad campaigns, including the now famous adage, "What happens here, stays here." But on Monday the city decided to use a different spokesman, and found it in an unlikely poster boy, Vice President Joe Biden. In a full-page ad in USA Today, the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority alluded to his latest verbal misadventure -- telling Matt Lauer on the "Today'' show last week that he "wouldn't go anywhere in confined places" because of the swine flu outbreak.
"Swine Flu Zombies" Get Own Graduation Rite In Pennsylvania
The "swine flu zombies" got their own intimate graduation ceremonies at a university here Saturday, an event designed to ward off the possible spread of the H1N1 virus to thousands of other students and well-wishers. The group of 22 students at Slippery Rock University got the latex glove treatment after returning from Mexico where they had been student teaching. The school opted to have a separate ceremony that included only the students, their families, and university officials. A videotape of the event was broadcast during graduation ceremonies for the more than 1,300 seniors receiving degrees.
Billionaire Blixseth Accused Of Looting From His Own Resort
Billionaire Tim Blixseth, founder of the Yellowstone Club, will be tried in civil court starting Wednesday, following accusations that he misappropriated a loan meant for the club, and used it for personal luxury. In 2005, creditors loaned him $375 million dollars in order to expand and improve his Yellowstone Club resort. Instead, he used to purchase airplanes and estates in France, Mexico and Scotland, along with a private island in the Caribbean.
