Britain's Queen Elizabeth celebrated her birthday with a credit crunch-friendly meal. The monarch - who turned 83 on Tuesday - shunned her usual lavish Buckingham Palace party in favor of an informal dinner at her son Prince Edward's house to show her subjects she understands the ongoing financial hardship the country is suffering.

A source told Britain's The Sun newspaper: "The queen was determined to keep this very low key by royal standards. There were just 18 in total and several didn't even drink."

Baby Given To Wrong Mom To Breast Feed At New Hampshire Hospital

Nurses at a hospital in Portsmouth, N.H. gave a newborn baby to the wrong mother to breast feed.

The Portsmouth Regional Hospital released a statement that officials there regret the incident occurred and there is an ongoing investigation to find out how the error happened.

Scientists in Texas say they have developed a set of risk factors that may predict who would benefit from preventive mastectomies and who probably would not.

The number of women choosing to have preventive mastectomies more than doubled between 1998 and 2003. Researchers at the University of Texas M.D. Cancer Center say many of these women are having the procedure done not because of their doctors' recommendations, but out of fear their cancer will return.

Stu Rasmussen, who won a third term as mayor of Silverton, Oregon, will be coming back to city hall dressed as a woman with breast implants.

Shrink Breasts, Prevent Cancer By Drinking Coffee

Research conducted by an oncologist at Lund University revealed that drinking large amounts of coffee could reduce the size of women's breasts.

However, drinking at least three cups of coffee a day reduces cancer risk in women.
