After allegedly trying to rob a bank, a man was arrested while trying to bum a ride from an undercover officer.

Police said Mark White, 50, flagged down an undercover detective about three blocks from the Citizen's Bank location he'd allegedly tried to rob just minutes before, the Saginaw News reported.

U.S. Marshals on Thursday evicted the wife of jailed Ponzi schemer Bernard Madoff's from the couple's $7 million penthouse apartment in Manhattan and took custody of the property.

Ruth Madoff, 68, left the duplex at the Upper East Side mansion at noon, a spokesman for the U.S. Marshall's office of the Southern District of New York said, according to ABC News.

There was a sort of twinkle in his eye which I find interesting. And the hat he wears, I did it for the hat."

A Florida man suspected of robbing a bank was arrested after several witnesses reported seeing a drunken man covered in red dye.

Pinellas County sheriff's detectives think a homeless 53-year-old man, Michael Prance, robbed Seminole's RBC Bank Thursday, escaping with the bank's cash, the St. Petersburg Times reported.
