Condo Buyers Suing Donald Trump Over Abandoned Luxury Resort In Mexico

Real estate developer Donald Trump is facing a lawsuit from 69 buyers of condominium units in a Mexican luxury resort carrying the businessman's name but has never been constructed.

In the suit filed before a state court in Los Angeles, the buyers claimed Trump misled them into buying units at the Trump Ocean Resort Baja in Tijuana causing them to lose $18 million worth of cash deposits.

Microsoft Corp. co-founder Bill Gates is back as the world's richest person retaking the title from Berkshire Hathaway CEO Warren Buffett in the Forbes Magazine's 2009 billionaires' list released on Wednesday.

Despite losing $18 billion in 2008, Gates ended up with a total net worth of $40 billion, $3 billion more than Buffett's fortune. Buffett lost $25 billion from the devaluation of his company shares.

Texas Trooper Finds 4.5-Ton Pot Inside Abandoned School Bus

A Texas state trooper has stumbled on more than four-and-a-half ton of packed marijuana hidden inside an abandoned school bus near the Mexican border.

The Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) on Tuesday said the 9,210 pounds of marijuana neatly packed in 560 bundles were found Saturday hidden under cardboard and in a secret ceiling compartment of the bus left near Laredo, on the side of U.S. 59 in Webb County.

A Mexican judge on Friday ordered a beauty queen to be jailed for 40 days while her involvement with a drug and weapons trafficking gang is investigated.

This year's Miss Sinaloa and Queen of Hispanic America winner Laura Zuniga, 23, will be jailed just like the seven armed men who were with her when police arrested them at a military checkpoint in the western state of Jalisco. Cash amounting to $100,000 and ammunition were found inside the vehicles of Zuniga and the suspected members of a drug cartel in Ciudad Juarez.
