A corpse reported to the authorities Tuesday in Bad Segeberg, Germany was later found out as a drunken man in a Halloween costume, police said.

The man fell into a drunken sleep while on a train ride home from a party in Hamburg. His zombie-like costume was mistaken by fellow passengers for a corpse.

The chief of police of the city of Lansing, Michigan has begun stockpiling chainsaws in preparation for possible zombie attacks. With Halloween approaching the city is not taking any chances.

"We have been doing mock disasters and cross training for several years," said Police lieutenant Bruce Ferguson stressing his police team is ready for any attack on their city.
