A 39-year-old homosexual threatened to sue medical staffs at a government hospital in the south of Manila, capital city,over a YouTube video clip of his rectal surgery, officials said Thursday.

The YouTube video clip showed the medical staff laughing while removing the blue canister stuck from the patient's rectum during sexual intercourse, at the Vicente Sotto Medical Memorial Center (VSMMC) in Cebu City, south of the Philippines on January 3.

Local officials reported Monday that they arrested a 93-year old man during a prostitution sting, with the man offering to pay an undercover policeman money for sex.

According to authorities, Frank Milio came up to the police officer, who was at the time disguised as a prostitute, and offered $20 for his services.

A bus driver who was taking children to school was arrested by police officials for pulling his bus over and trying to solicit sex from an undercover policewoman, who was dressed as a prostitute.

The 33-year old driver, whose name police refused to release, apparently was picking up special needs students when he approached the officer. The report said that he approached her twice: the first time, he had one child aboard the bus, and the second time he had four. The children were between 5 to 9-years-old.

After its 5,000 first edition copies sold out, Iranian authorities banned the latest novel by Gabriel Garcia Marquez after they realized its title had been altered.

Titled "Memories of My Melancholy Whores", the book was printed in Farsi as "Memories of Melancholy Sweethearts" and was sold out in Iran within three weeks.

An 81-year-old woman in the Welsh town of Abergavenny has probably become the oldest woman ever to be sentenced to eight months in prison for threatening to kill her neighbor's dog and also using witch craft on them.

While handling the sentence to Dorothy Evans for abusive behavior toward neighbors, Judge Roderick Denyer said Tuesday that he would have given her a longer sentence but did not do so because of her advanced age.
