A man was arrested for allegedly biting off a part of another man's ear during a fight Monday.

Antoine Parks was arrested early Monday morning at the victim's home. The victim was taken to Froedtert Hospital in Wauwatosa, Wis. for surgery to repair the ear, the UPI reported.

A 10-year-old boy in north Brazil survived after a fishing spear hit him on the head Tuesday.

The incident occurred in north Brazil's state of Para, where the boy was swimming in a river that also permits underwater fishing. Surgeons said the spear was fired from a gun and entered the boy's face just below his eye, the Russian news service Novosti reported.
