Joey Buttafuoco, who in the early 90's made headlines for sleeping with then 17-year-old Amy Fisher and sparking a national interest in the 'Long Island Lolita' case, is now working as an ice-cream man on the set of the hit show "Desperate Housewives" and "Crossing Jordan." During the Long Island drama, which kept water coolers in offices across the nation buzzing with gossip, his then girlfriend Fisher shot his wife Mary Jo in the face, leaving her severely injured and partially paralyzed - an incident that provided the inspiration for no fewer than three made-for-TV movies.

A Japanese woman has been arrested after calling the police when a hitman she hired to kill her lover's girlfriend failed to do the job. The 32-year-old woman from Tokyo was arrested for incitement to murder, the Daily Yomiuri newspaper reports. The woman hired a private detective she found on the internet to get rid of her rival who she suspected of seeing her lover. She paid the detective 1 million yen to do the job. When the detective failed to murder the woman, she called the police in frustration and was then arrested, along with the detective.
