Portraits of Alan Greenspan Put Artist Through Grad School

A Virginia woman's paintings of Federal Reserve chairman Alan Greenspan are flying out of an art gallery in Sag Harbor.

Erin Crowe was trying to raise money for graduate school, when she began making oil-on-canvas portraits of Greenspan, giving them title such as "I Gotta Tell Ya" "Laughing Alan" and "Humpht."

E-Textbooks Arrive at Colleges For Fall

Students at Princeton University, the University of Utah and eight other colleges, will be able to purchase many of their school text books in a digital format, in addition to the normal hard copy versions.

Digital books will include, Dante's "Inferno" and "Essentials of Psychology," and will be offered at 33 percent off.

Girl Dies at Disney Water Park

A 12-year-old girl collapses at a Disney World water park Thursday and later dies.

Authorities at the Orange County Sheriff's Office report the girl was in the wave pool at Typhoon Lagoon when lifeguards noticed her lying on a ledge, out of the water.

Brain-Dead Woman Gives Birth To Baby Girl

A 26-year old brain-dead woman gives birth to a healthy baby girl Tuesday.

She had suffered a stroke due to the spread of an aggressive melanoma on May 7, and has been kept alive via life support systems to allow the fetus time to grow.
