Cops Bust Truck Driver With 1,400 Pounds Of Pot Mixed With Frozen Food

Police in Arizona busted a Connecticut semi tractor trailer driver after they say they found more than 1,000 pounds of marijuana mixed with frozen food products inside the rig's trailer.

The truck was stopped by an Arizona Department of Public Safety officer for an equipment violation on I-17 early Sunday morning. A search of the trailer revealed 1,400 pound of pot mixed in with the frozen food the truck was hauling.

Smoking Pot May Double The Risk Of Testicular Cancer

Smoking pot may increase men's risk of developing testicular cancer, according to new research from Seattle.

The researchers studied 369 men between 18 and 44 who had been diagnosed at one time with testicular cancer. They compared these men with 979 men who lived in the same area, but had never been diagnosed with testicular cancer.

Mingo County W.VA Drug Raid Yields 47 Arrests, Numerous Drugs

A half-foot of snow on the ground meant it was difficult to drive or fly and may have helped ensure that 47 of the 60 suspects were home that law enforcement officials were looking for in a Mingo County, W.VA drug raid, state police said.

Authorities say that during the two-day raid they also seized 137 Alprazolam tablets, 264 Oxycodone tablets, 336 Hydrocodone tablets, 38 MDMA (Ecstacy) tablets, 125 Diazepam tablets, 1.5 grams of crack cocaine, 73.3 grams of cocaine, 1,019 Marijuana Plants, $13,208.00 in cash and three vehicles.

Texas Trooper Finds 4.5-Ton Pot Inside Abandoned School Bus

A Texas state trooper has stumbled on more than four-and-a-half ton of packed marijuana hidden inside an abandoned school bus near the Mexican border.

The Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) on Tuesday said the 9,210 pounds of marijuana neatly packed in 560 bundles were found Saturday hidden under cardboard and in a secret ceiling compartment of the bus left near Laredo, on the side of U.S. 59 in Webb County.

Obama's Estranged Half Brother Busted For Pot Possession In Kenya

The half brother of President Barack Obama, George Obama, was arrested by Kenyan police on charges of marijuana possession, CNN reported Saturday.

He was also accused by Kenyan police of resisting arrest. He is scheduled to appear in court Monday.
