Video Claims To Reveal Vice President Biden's Daughter Using Cocaine
A man claiming to be a friend of Vice President Joseph Biden's daughter Ashley, is shopping around a video of the 27-year-old snorting cocaine at a party in Wilmington, Del., according to various media outlets. The seller and his attorney said the video was shot this year. They are trying to get $250,000 for it, according to the New York Post and RadarOnline. Both the Post and Radar reporters watched segments of the video, and they said a woman identical to Ashley Biden is seen in it snorting a white powdery substance with a red straw in one instance and with a rolled up dollar bill in another. The woman later jokes the lines of powder aren't large enough.
NASA Spacecraft Spots New Moonlet In Saturn Ring
The U.S. space agency's spacecraft studying Saturn has found a new moonlet in the planet's outer ring, according to a circular of the International Astronomical Union. NASA's Cassini spacecraft found the moonlet embedded and moving within a 150-mile arc of the faint G ring. The spacecraft's camera detected the moonlet, estimated at around one-third of a mile wide, on Aug. 15, 2008.
Software Engineer Building Robotic Female Companion
A software engineer from Toronto, Canada on Thursday presented to the press the country's first android, a partially-built female robot the inventor said could become an ideal domestic partner when completed. Le Trung, 33, calls his invention Aiko, the Japanese word for "love child." The robot can respond to touch, visual cues and voice commands. It can clean the house, mix a drink, read newspaper headlines in English and Japanese, and tell the weather.

The first real-life euthanasia documentary aired Wednesday on Britain's national TV received mixed reviews from pro-life and assisted suicide advocates. The wife of motor neurone disease (MND) sufferer Craig Ewert, who drank a fatal dose of barbiturates before stopping his ventilator at a euthanasia clinic in Switzerland in September 2006, defended the action of her husband to take his own life and the filming of his death.
