Sarzoky Nuptial Was A 'Quickie Wedding'

French First Lady Carla Bruni-Sarkozy admitted in a one-hour interview for a French TV program her wedding to President Nicolas Sarkozy was decided in just two days.

Because of the short notice to find an appropriate wedding outfit, Bruni bought a cream Hermes dress off the rack in a high-end Paris shop. The small, private nuptials held in February, had few guests including French couturiers Christian Lacroix and Jean Paul Gaultier.

Woman Arrested For Bartending In 'Birthday Suit'

An Illinois woman was arrested for bartending naked at an Alton pub.

Jamie Day had put on a shirt by the time police arrived, but male customers said she had been totally nude and "performing" while handing out drinks at the Pub Room earlier, KMOX news reports.

Naked Beach Lovers Run To Preserve Vancouver Nude Beach

Some 100 nude beachcombers participated Sunday morning in the 15th Annual Bare Buns Run/Walk in Wreck Beach.

The five-kilometer (3.1 miles) race is a fundraising activity to preserve the nudist beach. The Wreck Beach Preservation Society, which organizes the annual event, will also hold a Body Acceptance Day on Aug. 23 for first-time nudists.

German naturists swimming and sunbathing on a nude beach near the Polish border are complaining about voyeurs from the other side of the border who stare at them.

One nude beach patron, Ines Muller, said beach-goers from Poland come to the beach in Germany to stare at nude swimmers and sunbathers.

Hundreds Bicycle Nude In Madrid On World Naked Bike Ride Day

Hundreds of bike riders shed their clothing and rode through the capital of Spain Saturday protesting the overuse of automobiles, and celebrating the simplicity of bicycles and the human body.

According to the World Naked Bike Ride Website, the annual ride is held in cities all over the world "to celebrate cycling and the human body. The ride demonstrates the vulnerability of cyclists on the road and is a protest against oil dependency."
