Heather Mills' false leg fell off in a supermarket. The model and charity campaigner - who lost part of her left limb when she was hit by a police motorcycle in 1993 - had to be rescued by two youths after taking a tumble while out shopping.

She wrote on her Twitter page: "Slipped on spilled milk while being followed down supermarket aisle by two teenage boys, ended up on my a*s but they rescued my leg and me."

Japanese Scientists Create First Transgenic Monkeys With Skin That Glows Green

Japanese scientists have created the world's first transgenic monkeys that can pass to their offspring genes that make their skin glow a fluorescent green, according to the journal Nature.

The scientists successfully integrated the GFP gene of a jellyfish into the DNA of the common marmoset, said the research published in this week's issue of the science magazine. Monkeys born to the genetically-engineered marmoset inherited the GFP genes so the skin on the soles of their feet also glows green when exposed to ultraviolet light.
