Snowboarders in Romania blocked traffic when they converged on Romania's national weather institute to complain about the lack of snow which have hampered their snowboarding plans.

The unusual sit down protest held in the Romanian capital city of Romania ended peacefully when weather forecasters assured their concerns "would be passed on to a higher authority."

European men are rushing to Bulgaria to buy Boza beer, which is said to boost women's breasts, after Bulgaria's accession to the EU abolished prohibitive customs duties on the drink.

The Bulgarian Boza beer, which is made from fermented wheat flour and yeast, has become popular among bar owners, shopkeepers and shoppers across Europe. The beverage is popular among men as gifts for their wives and girlfriends to benefit from its reported ability to make women's breast grow bigger.

29-year-old Rainer Schoenfelder didn't know he was being photographed as he skied down the Lauberhorn wearing only an orange helmet and yellow boots. The Austrian skier and world-cup racer, who had been experiencing pain since his crash in Turracher Hoehe, Austria, promised his physiotherapist that, if his pains eased up by January 9, 2007, he would ski naked.

They did. So he did.

After losing a bet with his physiotherapist, Austrian World Cup skier Rainer Schoenfelder went on a naked ski run on Wednesday alongside the famed Lauberhorn downhill course.

The 29-year-old Austrian skier vowed to ski naked if his pains had lessened by Wednesday morning. Schoenfelder hurt his neck and back in a crash last week and lost the bet with his physiotherapist, who had been treating his injuries.

British company SNO!zone is offering a white Christmas on auction site eBay to raise money for charity.

SNO!zone, which operates three indoor ski slopes, promises to deliver a 10-ton truck loaded with snow on Christmas Eve. Winner of the auction will also get a decorated Christmas three, a front door wreath and Christmas lights.
