Boys Stick Tongues To Frozen Flagpole

Trying to duplicate a scene from the movie, "A Christmas Story," two fourth-grade boys ended up with their tongues stuck to a frozen flagpole.

According to reports, Gavin Dempsey and James Alexander were on flag duty at Jackson Elementary School Friday morning, when the pair decided to test whether their tongues really would really stick to the freezing metal as what they've seen in the movie.

Man Shreds Playoff Tickets By Mistake

A local reverend's ticket to the upcoming National Football Conference was mistakenly shredded after asking his assistant to get rid of a stack of papers on his desk.

The tickets for the Sunday game at the Lambau Field with the Green Bay Packers were placed on the desk of wheelchair-bound Rev. Walter Hermanns, who had multiple sclerosis. Rev. Hermanns was getting some assistance from friend Andrew Duncan with tasks such as straightening out his home, as was the case Friday night.

A man fell 22 feet to the ground as he accidentally threw himself out of his window three stories high along with a Christmas tree he was trying to take down.

According to Moenchengladbach police, the man claimed he lost his balance while throwing the tree on the streets.

A drunken Wisconsin man woke up Monday in his neighbor's backyard without pants, a cashier's check worth over $41,000 and several hundred dollars in cash.

Police said Mark Stahnke filed a report Monday but could not provide details on what happened when he left the bar the night before until he woke up the following morning.
