Unicorns Seen On ESPN Web Site With Konami Code
ESPN.com created a lot of chatter on Twitter on Tuesday after the company experienced a high profile web site defacement, showing colorful ponies and unicorns bouncing from one end of the screen to another. It's not work of an art, but the defacement occurred on the sports news web site where the Cornify script was invoked by a Javascript using keystokes known as the Konami code, according to Praetorian Prefect post.
Suitcase Found Stuffed With Body Of Missing 8-Year-Old California Girl
The body of an eight-year-old girl, Sandra Cantu, missing since almost two weeks ago was found on in a suitcase in a pond near her home in California. Tracy Police Chief Janet Thiessen announced the discovery in a press conference late Monday night, but identified no suspect. "We will be determining the person or persons responsible for this reprehensible act, and we will bring them to justice," she is quoted by the San Francisco Chronicle as saying.
Father Faces Murder Charges After Sending Daughter For 10 Mile Walk In Christmas Snow Storm
The father of an 11-year-old girl who perished after trying to walk 10 miles in the snow on Christmas Day, is now facing charges of second-degree murder and felony injury to a child. Robert Aragon, 55, of Jerome, arrived in court on Monday, where Judge Mark Ingram assigned a public defender for him. The judge denied Aragon's request to lower his $500,000 bond. He was being held in the Blaine County Jail.
Homosexuals In Denmark Have Own Cemetery Space
A cemetery in Copenhagen has designated an area for homosexuals who wish to be buried with people of the same sexual orientation. The area in Assistens Cemetery is funded by an association called Regnbuen (Rainbow). It rented space in the cemetery that can accommodate up to 45 urns. Each spot costs $526 (2,500 kroner}.
Stun Gun/MP3 Player Unveiled At CES In Las Vegas
An Arizona-based electronic company has unveiled a new gadget which integrates a Taser stun gun with an mp3 player at the annual Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, Nevada. Dubbed as the iTaser, the new gadget features a 1GB player in the stun gun's holster.
