Trying to duplicate a scene from the movie, "A Christmas Story," two fourth-grade boys ended up with their tongues stuck to a frozen flagpole.

According to reports, Gavin Dempsey and James Alexander were on flag duty at Jackson Elementary School Friday morning, when the pair decided to test whether their tongues really would really stick to the freezing metal as what they've seen in the movie.

The state Bridge Task Force released a report on Wednesday asserting that New York's 49 deck trusses are safe for traveling. The report also confirmed that the bridge inspection procedures that are in place at the moment are adequate.

The mass inspection was ordered by New York governor Eliot Spitzer following the collapse of a Minneapolis deck truss bridge in August.

Collectors who wants a piece of history will be given an opportunity to own a big piece of Eiffel Towel stairway on November 19 when the Paris' Drouot auction house place the 4.5 meter-high segment of the stairway under the hammer.

In a statement, the auction house expects the 15-foot segment, which weighs at least 1,540 lbs to fetch between $21,000 to $28,000.

A Malaysian college student is facing charges for allegedly violating the country's Sedition Act for displaying the country's flag and rapping the Malaysian national anthem on a YouTube video Wednesday.

The six-minute YouTube video was created by Namewee, a 24-year-old Malaysian student at Taiwan's Ming Chuan University. The video is said to have been watched by almost half a million people, not only in Malaysia but all over the world.
