Judge Dismisses Charges Against Trio Who Planned To Have Sex With Corpse
A Court of Appeals has dismissed attempted sexual assault charges against three men involved in necrophilia after it was found that Wisconsin has no law against having sex with a corpse. Twin brothers Nicholas and Alexander Grunke and Dustin Radke, went to a cemetery in Cassville in southwestern Wisconsin on Sept. 2 to remove the body of Laura Tennessen, 20, who had been killed the week before in a motorcycle crash.
Teenager Leads Police On 150 Mph Chase Before They Finally Give Up
A 19-year-old motorcyclist has reportedly led police on an interstate highway chase at speeds of up to 150 mph before they finally gave up the chase. However, police quickly tracked the bike's license number and found it belonged to Ryan Lewis of Eugene, Oregon. Lewis was later found by police in his house and his bike was found hidden in the courtyard. The incident took place on Monday evening when Oregon State Police Capt. Calvin Curths said he was in an unmarked car in a construction zone on Interstate 5 when the motorcycle sped past him.
Michigan Man Receives 33,500 Pennies In Small Claims Case
Bob Wilson has won a small-claims case and the court has rewarded him with a cash award, but the Howell Township resident wants to part ways with it. The reason behind the strange situation is the mode of payment. Instead of being paid in cash, Wilson received the allocated amount of $335 announced by the court in pennies, totaling up to 33,500. The case stemmed from the repair of an old dirt bike, which Wilson took to Karl Stepen, a motorcycle service store owner, to fix. Stepen reportedly kept the bike for nearly six months and returned the bike to Wilson but it "lasted two minutes," Wilson told wzzm13.com.
Motorcyclist Sues Over Football Crash
A motorcyclist has filed a lawsuit against the Tacoma School District, claiming that the ball tossed by a group of Wilson High School cheerleaders and football players conducting a car wash caused his Harley Davidson to crash, thereby hurting him. Ronald Adjutant, of University Place, has reportedly sought undisclosed damages for "physical and mental," injuries he suffered in the crash. The incident happened on April 3, 2004, when Adjutant was riding his Harley Davidson and suddenly a ball came out flying, hitting the front of his bike, causing him to crash on the ground.
Pakistan Lifts Ban On Kite-Flying Until Februay 25
About a month ahead of Basant, an annual festival that marks the spring season and is celebrated by flying colorful kites, authorities on Thursday lifted a ban on kite-flying in Pakistan for a short time after almost a year. The sport was forbidden last year following a series of deaths caused by reinforced kite strings, but the government now lifted the ban about in the eastern province of Punjab and its capital, Lahore.
