Poll Deems 'Light Saber' Ultimate Movie Weapon
A poll commissioned by 20th Century Fox revealed the Star Wars weapon, the Light saber, is considered the best movie weapon in movie history. The weapon beat out other historic weapons made memorable in several movies, such as the crossbow from Robin Hood, the gold gun from James Bond: The Man With The Golden Gun, and the legendary machine gun used by Tony Montana in the classic gangster flick, Scarface.
Teacher Suspended Over Steamy Advertisement
A grade school teacher was meted suspension after her own pupils claimed they saw her in a steamy advertisement for work clothes wherein she appeared simulating sex with a builder. However, Sarah Green claims the video for Scruffs Hardwear was shot before she collared the $15,000-a-year as an English teacher at Stockport Grammar School.
Kitten Survives Spin In Wash Tub
A 10-week-old kitten survived a spin in a washing machine after her 11-year old owner spotted her spinning alongside with dirty laundry, according to a local news report. According to the report, Bethany Hall saw Molly through the machine door of their washing machine as her mother, Sonia Hall, was doing their laundry.

After refusing to scrub her partner's dirty shoes, a 32-year-old-woman died after she was thrown-out of the window by her Egyptian husband, Monday. Liberty Post reported that the cadaver of the woman was found next to a tower block in the city of El Mahalla el Kubra to the north of Cairo.
Philippine Mayor Vows Shoot-To-Kill Order Against Rogue Policemen
The mayor of the Philippine capital of Manila Alfredo Lim on Sunday outlined a tough new policy on rogue police officers. Lim warned he would issue a shoot-to-kill order against rogue policemen who were involved in illegal acts such as robbery with homicide, or who put up violent or armed resistance during arrest. Lim made the announcement as he revealed he had planned to issue a shoot-to-kill order against a policeman who was suspected of being involved in a recent robbery involving homicide case. The mayor said only the immediate arrest of the policeman prevented him from issuing that directive.
