Five Dead In Miami After Apparent Murder-Suicide

Five people in Miami are dead in what police are saying was a murder-suicide that happened early Sunday morning.

Miami police said they sent officers to a home at SW 38th Court shortly after midnight after receiving several 911 calls from neighbors who heard gunshots coming from the home, local television station CBS 4 reported.

Alabama Man Goes On Shooting Rampage, Kills 9 People And Himself

A man shot dead nine people before killing himself in the southeastern Alabama town of Samson on Tuesday afternoon.

The shooting rampage started at 4:05 p.m. with the still unidentified gunman killing a woman, according to Samson police. The gunman then drove to a home, where he shot dead five people, before continuing his shooting spree in Kinston and Geneva.

Convicted Wife Killer Ends Life In Double Murder-Suicide

An Illinois man, who served time in prison for killing his wife in 1985, has shot to death his second wife and her son before shooting himself, Wilmette police said Tuesday.

Investigators said Richard Wiley, 54, used a Civil War muzzle-loading long gun to shoot his wife Kathryn Wiley-Motes, 50, and her son Christopher Motes, 17, on Saturday before shooting himself on Sunday. The bodies were found at their home in Greenleaf Avenue Monday by police.

Cedar Rapids Police Say 130 Cars Vandalized Across City

Cedar Rapids police are looking for suspects in a slew of car vandalism cases across the city. Police say the windows were shot out of more than 130 windows late Saturday into Sunday.

Police do not yet have any suspects, but said the perpetrators most likely used a BB gun or pellet gun to damage the car windows.

Salesman Claim Robbers Stole $300,000 In Dog Jewelry At Denver Area Starbucks

Three armed robbers reportedly stole $300,000 worth of dog jewelry from a salesman in a Denver-area Starbucks.

The 64-year-old Kansas City resident was in town for a Denver-area dog show and stopped at Starbucks at 9700 S. Parker Road. He had just returned to his car when a trio of masked men suddenly appeared, including one holding a gun, according to Parker police spokeswoman Elise Penington.
