Swedish Couple Locked in Legal Fight With Tax Board Over Baby's Name
A Swedish couple had to scrap their plans to travel to Germany because the name they want to give to their six-month-old daughter is unacceptable by the State's tax board and the family can not travel without a registered first name on the kid's passport. Although the couple finds the name "Metallica" really befitting for their obstinate daughter, the tax board contends it as gross and unflattering. According to The Local reports, the tax board has refused to register the name on the grounds that the name may be derived from an American heavy metal band and is too closely related to the word "metal."
Toddler Incurs Travel Ban, Arrest Warrant
The name of a two-year-old boy was listed on the country's list of wanted suspects. He was briefly banned from getting on a plane bound for Turkey. The details on the toddler's passport had been the same as those in an arrest warrant, even the date of birth.

An American woman entered a "Miss Bikini" pageant in China as an unauthorized representative of Pakistan, a conservative Muslim country. Mariyah Moten, 22, won "Best in Media" at the pageant for being the most photographed and interviewed contestant. A government official says the Houston resident did not have permission to represent Pakistan. The country does not hold beauty contests, and many women only go out with veils covering them.

A woman, living in Germany, is adding an extra for anyone who wins the auction for her Ferrari Enzo sports car. According to a Reuters report, the 26 year old female, who gave her name as Leila, is including herself in the auction, with the starting bid being about $1.6 million on ebay.

Jericho, West Bank (AHN)-The Palestinian man who befriended a 16-year-old Michigan girl through the popular MySpace.com Web site and invited her to join him in Jericho says he is heartbroken by U.S. authorities' decision to send her back home. Abdullah Jimzawi, 20, who is an internet buff who spends at least 10 hours a day on the Internet, says that his love for Katherine Lester, of Gilford, Michigan was pure and they planned to marry. He also decried attempts to portray him as an internet predator.
