Baby Accidentally Dials 911, Leads To Arrest Of Father
A 29-year old Canadian man was arrested by police after his 11-month old son accidentally pressed 911 on a mobile phone the man gave his baby to play with. After the 911 operator failed to talk to the caller, the operator traced the call to White Rock and contacted the Royal Canadian Mounted Police about the incident. The Mounties went to the house.

Police departments across the state of Massachusetts reportedly will not ticket people in possession of marijuana, even if they are caught smoking it. Officials say a new law that decriminalizes having small amounts of "pot" makes it impossible to enforce penalties because it is poorly written.
Marijuana Plantation In Canada Disguised Field By Planting The Dope Beside Corn Stalks
Eastern Ontario Police confiscated more than 40,000 marijuana plants worth about $40 million in what is considered the largest dope bust in Canadian history. The marijuana plantation was discovered on a 99-plus acre farm in Laurentian Valley Township, which is outside Pembroke in Ontario. Police described the farm as an elaborate operation with even an irrigation system in place, according to Ontario police spokeswoman Sgt. Kristine Rae.
California Police Make Arrests, Seize Pot Plants, At Upscale Suburban Marijuana Grow Houses
Police in California seized hundreds of pot plants, $384,000 in cash and arrested six people in connection with marijuana grow houses. Eight warrants were served Tuesday and marijuana plants were found at indoor grow operations in two large, well-maintained upscale suburban homes in El Dorado Hills and Placerville. The other warrants were served in Cameron Park - where marijuana growing equipment was found - and in Placerville, Lincoln, Sacramento and Elk Grove.
