A pediatric neurosurgeon has found and removed a tumor with a tiny foot and other partially formed body parts from a newborn's brain.

Sam Esquibel is being nursed back to recovery by his parents, Tiffnie and Manuel Esquibel in Colorado after Dr. Paul Grabb operated on him at the Memorial Hospital for Children in Chicago on Oct. 3.

Panda Bites College Student Looking For Hug

A 20-year-old college student was bitten by a panda in southern China after he broke into the animal's zoo enclosure hoping to hug the bear.

The student ignored the warning signs and climbed up a 6 foot 5 inch barrier to get into the pen at the Qixing Park Zoo in Guilin, China, according to the state-run Chinese news agency Xinhua.

Carjackers Hangs Florida Woman's Baby Outside Window During Theft

A Central Florida woman who was carjacked at gunpoint is still getting over the experience that included the gunman dangling her 10-month-old daughter upside down by her feet outside the vehicle window.

The carjacking happened Friday shortly before noon when a gunman ambushed Alyssa Gould in her SUV at an intersection. The carjacker opened the driver's side door and put a gun in her face, then unbuckled her baby and dangled the infant by her feet.

German Group Claims Biggest Puzzle Record

A group of some 15,00 people from the town of Ravensburg in Germany are claiming their place in the Guinness Book of World Records, after assembling what they described as the world's biggest jigsaw puzzle.

The effort was organized by Europe's biggest puzzle maker Ravensburg AG, which put together 1,141,800 pieces of jigsaw in five hours on Monday to form a nearly 6,500-square foot puzzle.

Two Surfers Bitten Over Weekend, Volusia County, FL Only 1 Bite Away From Record

Two surfers were simultaneously bitten by sharks over the weekend in an area not far from where a father and son later that day survived more than 13 hours floating in the water until rescued - without being bitten.

The shark bite victims were both sitting on surf boards in the water about 200 feet apart and were bitten on the foot in two separate incidents about a second apart, according to reports.
