Fritzl Admits Murder, Apologizes
Two days after he admitted incest and rape, but denied murder, Austrian Josef Fritzl turned around and took responsibility for the death of his son Michael, the product of his incestuous relationship with daughter Elizabeth. He also acknowledged having enslaved his daughter, whom he had sexually abused for over 3,000 times. Fritzl said, "I plead guilty to all the charges in the indictment."
LA, Manhattan Clinics Offering 'Designer Babies'
A doctor who owns fertility clinics in Manhattan and Los Angeles said that within six months, he plans to let potential parents choose many of their babies' features. Dr. Jeff Steinberg, owner of the LA Fertility Institute, said that traits like eye, hair and even skin color will soon be a matter of his customers' choice. Steinberg was one of the innovators of the test tube baby in the 1970s.

Barely a day after Zimbabwe President Robert Mugabe asked fellow African nations for $2 billion to help the poor African nation recover, news of a lavish party for their president was reported Thursday. According to BBC, supporters of Mugabe has so far raised $250,000 (176,000 euro) for his 85th birthday party on Saturday. Mugabe's natal day is Feb. 21, the ritzy party, to be held at the town of Chinhoyi, The biggest donor is Harare businessman and Zanu-PF official Philip Chiyanga, who gave $110,000 (78,000 pound).
Police Use Google Street View To Find Nine-Year-Old Missing Girl
A nine-year-old girl, who went missing as she was allegedly abducted by her grandmother, was tracked down by police using Google's Street View on the internet and a mobile phone signal. Natalie Maltais went missing on Saturday after her grandmother Rose M. Maltais, 52, did not return with her following a weekend away, the officials based in Athol, Massachusetts said.
