Wellington, New Zealand (AHN)-A New Zealand policewoman has been censured for moonlighting as a prostitute, but is being allowed to keep her day job after giving up the controversial night duties.

While prostitution is legal in New Zealand and police are allowed to take approved second jobs, a top officer says sex work and police work don't mix.

New Zealand Police Officer Discovered To Have Moonlighted As A Prostitute

A female police officer who was discovered last year to have been a prostitute for a short time has gotten off with a warning, according to New Zealand police authorities.

The officer, who is not identified, is stationed in Auckland, the biggest city in New Zealand.

80-Year-Old Man Pleads Guilty To Trading Drugs For Sex

An 80-year-old man on Wednesday admitted possessing drugs and trading them for sex. The man admitted that he sold crack cocaine from his house and gave some of the drugs to prostitutes in exchange for sex.

In front of a jury, Felix Cocco, of Pittsburgh, pleaded guilty to charges of possession of a controlled substance, possession with intent to deliver and possession of drug paraphernalia.
