Germany's Thomas Dold, 22, won the Empire State Building Run-up on Tuesday for the second year in a row in 10 minutes, 25 seconds, a few seconds over his 2006 winning time. Suzy Walsham, 33, of Singapore grabbed the women's prize out of a total of 290 runners from around the world.
The age group ranged from 18 to 77 in the 30th annual race up the famed skyscraper of New York. However, the star of the event was 77-year-old Al Puma who raced up to 86 flights even after four knee surgeries.
