A traveling exhibition based on broken relationships has arrived in Berlin where it is proving to be popular.

Aptly named The Museum of Broken Relationships, it asks people in each city it comes to, to donate memorabilia of their terminated relationships, from brief flings to long painful divorces.

Japanese Train Commuters Get Free Rides After Ticket Gates Malfunction

Thousands of Japanese commuters got a free train ride to work at 662 railway and subway stations in the Tokyo area on Friday morning, local newspapers reported. Train operators allowed the commuters to pass through 4,400 electronic ticket gates that temporarily failed to operate without using their prepaid access cards.

The decision to give the passengers free access was to avoid confusion during rush hour.

In Japan, the Internet café has become a substitute for home. A survey of Japan's ministry of health indicated that the number of people who sleeps over at 24-hour Internet cafes for having no home or job total 5,400 nationwide, the Kyodo News reported.

The Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare's findings disclosed on Tuesday reveals what could be a widening of the rich-poor gap in Asia's richest country.

Hello Kitty - world famous Japanese moon-faced cartoon cat is all set to pamper your pet dog with a 3.9 million yen ($31,660 USD) doghouse set to go on sale later this month.

The first-of-it's kind doghouse comes embedded with 7,600 Swarovski crystals and is just large enough for a lapdog like a Chihuahua or terrier. Its manufacturer Sanrio Co., which is also the makers of Hello Kitty cartoon cat, said the dog house was created especially for a sales event at a Tokyo department store.

Designed in collaboration with a maker of high-end pet goods, the luxury dog house has a pillow in the shape of Hello Kitty's face. AP quotes Sanrio spokesman Kazuo Tohmatsu as saying, "There's been a boom in luxury couches for larger dogs, so we thought there might be room for something new."

Japanese Teenager Walks Into Police Station With Mom's Head

A teenage Japanese boy walked into a police station with a severed head and claimed he killed his sleeping mother a day before her birthday in northern Fukushima state Tuesday.

The police followed the boy to his house later and recovered a headless body from his house.
