A Pittsburgh zoo's 2-year-old polar bear is recovering Monday after root canal surgery. Last month, zookeepers at the Pittsburgh Zoo & PPG Aquarium examined the bear after they noticed that he seemed lethargic. They discovered that Koda's quadrant mandibular canine - a big, fang-like tooth on the lower right side of his jaw - was infected.

Dr. Tom Klein, a veterinary dentist at Ohio State University who operated on Koda, said the infection in the tooth could have spread to the jaw if it wasn't dealt with.

A wild turkey burst through the window at a home in Bloomington, and one family says its simply not funny.

Thanksgiving morning, the turkey smashed into the Cobbs' family dining room window, where Sandy says, "It's terrible. My house is a disaster!"

A 21-year-old man wolfed down 4.8 pounds of turkey in 12 minutes at an annual turkey-eating contest Wednesday, beating out the 2nd-place winner by a full pound. Now Patrick Bertoletti says he doesn't want to eat any turkey on Thanksgiving and that he's going to dine on venison instead.

Bertoletti, a 190-pound culinary student from Chicago, said he devoured the turkey breast first.

Specialty beverage maker Jones Soda Co. will soon offer new green pea flavored soda to add to its roster of flavors like fish taco and salmon.

Green pea is only one of the unique sodas being offered by the company alongside with turkey and gravy, dinner roll, sweet potato and antacid flavor. These flavors will be marketed as part of their $10 to $15 "holiday pack" of bottled drinks to be distributed nationwide.

The name of a two-year-old boy was listed on the country's list of wanted suspects. He was briefly banned from getting on a plane bound for Turkey.

The details on the toddler's passport had been the same as those in an arrest warrant, even the date of birth.
