Denver Is America's Most 'Lustful' City
Denver is the most "lustful" city in America judging by the number of contraceptives sold in the city compared with its population size. According to a ranking made by Forbes Magazine and research firm ACNielsen, Denver is followed by San Antonio, Texas and Portland, Oregon, both tied for second place. The other states in the list are Seattle; Salt Lake City; Washington, D.C.; Columbus, Ohio; Cincinnati; Baltimore; and Buffalo.
Cat Causes Two-Hour Idaho Blackout To 12,000 Homes
Idaho power officials have blamed a cat for a blackout on Monday afternoon that affected more than 12,000 homes and businesses in Nampa City. The blackout lasted more than two hours, and officials say it was started when feeder lines blew up after a cat touched a live circuit inside a power substation. The cat was electrocuted to death.
FBI Takes Another Look At D.B. Cooper Mystery
Thirty-six years after he jumped out of a 727 clutching a bag full of cash, the mystery of D.B. Cooper is getting another look at by the FBI. The FBI has posted some new details in this cold case and are, once again, asking the public for help. On Nov. 24, 1971, a non-descript man calling himself Dan Cooper approached the counter of Northwest Orient Airlines in Portland, Oregon. He used cash to buy a one-way ticket on Flight #305, bound for Seattle, Washington.

Not about to run out of ideas, beverage company Jones Soda Co. is giving a new twist to ham this Christmas season - it's in liquid form. The Seattle-based firm launches Sunday is holiday-themed limited-edition flavored soda packs and ham-flavor soda is included in the outrageous roster this year.
Feds Shut Down Feel-Good Medical Marijuana California Candy Factory
Patients around the world relying on a little feel-good pain relief from nibbling on marijuana-laced snacks baked at a California factory will be out of luck because federal agents closed it down. Drug Enforcement Administration officials said agents raided the Tainted Inc. factory in Oakland on Wednesday and arrested several people. They also seized 460 marijuana plants along with a variety of pot-laced products intended for medical users of the drug. Those products included such things as barbecue sauce, chocolate-covered pretzels, candy bars, cookies, marshmallow pies, ice cream, peanut butter, jelly, energy drinks and "Rice Krispy treats."
