A former Winter Olympian won first place at the seventh annual North American Wife Carrying Championship.

John Farra, who carried his 110-pound wife Tess won her weight in beer and five times her weight in cash, or $550 reports the AP.

Austrian ski instructors in Arlberg region have agreed to bare it all after students ask them to release a naked calendar.

It was reported that 24 male and female instructors stripped their clothes off and braved the Alpine cold over 6,000 feet above sea level to pose for the Ski Instructors Calendar.

Couple Stranded for Hours on First Date

It could be the worst first date in history. What started out as a nice time with sushi and jet skiing turned into quite an ordeal.

Jessica Lucarini, 26, and Michael Eckhoff, 28, were on their first date when their jet ski broke down on an isolated stretch of the Myakka River in southwest Florida.

Python Swallows A Queen Size Electric Blanket

It took surgery to save a 12-foot Burmese python after it swallowed an entire queen-size electric blanket - with the electrical cord and control box, reported AP.

The blanket must have gotten tangled up in the snake's rabbit dinner, owner Karl Beznoska said. He kept the blanket in the cage to keep the 60-pound reptile, named Houdini, warm.

"Somehow, he was able to unplug the electric cord," Beznoska said. "He at least wasn't hooked up to the power. It might have been pretty warm there."
