Frenchman Alain Robert, a self-styled rock climber, was only 18 floors away from his destination on Tuesday when he was arrested by police personnel. The 44-year-old, who has been nicknamed "Spiderman" by the local media, was climbing one of Malaysia's 88-story Petronas Twin Towers without any safety equipment.
As Robert reached the 60th floor of the building he was grabbed by firemen waiting for him. Authorities suspect the feat was unauthorized and they plan to charge Robert with trespassing.
