The decades old tradition of Palm Beach's elite storing their furs and vintage wine at First National's cool vault during those humid summer months is over.

A letter from Yanneth Villarreal, the retail banking director at the bank, which is now part of Wachovia, broke the bad news to customers, who have until 4 p.m. Thursday to gather their furs and wines from the bank's storage, the Palm Beach Post reported.
