Santa Claus still gets the most mail, according to the Universal Postal Union (UPU). In 2006 Santa received more than six million letters that are answered by postal workers in 20 countries.

Written by children and filled with the most fanciful wishes, these missives are often addressed simply "To Santa, North Pole."

Poll Reveals Interesting Grown-Up Christmas Wishes

A recent poll done by ABC News disclosed some interesting wishes that adults had for Santa Claus this Christmas season. The results showed wishes that would be considered expected and usual, as well as humanitarian wishes such as love and peace. And there were some that were more than a bit unusual, such as teeth.

The survey revealed that ten percent of Americans wished for a new car - a notable 6 percent decrease from the numbers gathered during the 2005 holiday season. Six percent wanted cash, reported the UPI. It ranged from "10 million dollars," "$300,000 wrapped in ribbon," to "financial security" as suggested by a Minneapolis woman who said, "I'd like to have my bills paid off."

An American housewife is reportedly suing her own husband for trying to conceal his winnings from a local lottery.

Donna Campbell said her husband, Arnim Ramdass, won the Florida jackpot worth $10.3 million along with 16 other airline mechanics and as such, received his prize share of more than $614,000.
