Police: Principal Arrested For Covering Up Beer Allowance To Cheer Squad
A South Carolina principal was charged with hindering a police investigation after she allegedly told a cheerleading squad not to talk to police. Police were investigating a cheerleading coach who was accused of giving the girls alcohol. Coach Jill Moore was arrested last week and has since resigned from the position.
Panda Put On Low-Carb Diet To Improve Sex Life
Authorities at a Thai zoo have put a male Panda on a low-carb diet regime to get him to mate. Officials at the Chiang Mai Zoo in northern Thailand say that Chuang Chuang the Panda is too heavy to have sex and needs to lose weight to persuade his female counterpart to have sex. "Chuang Chuang is gaining weight too fast and we found Lin Hui is no longer comfortable with having sex with him," Kanika Limtrakul, the chief veterinarian at the zoo told the AP, adding that Chuang Chuang weighed 331 pounds while Lin Hui is only 253 pounds.

29-year-old Rainer Schoenfelder didn't know he was being photographed as he skied down the Lauberhorn wearing only an orange helmet and yellow boots. The Austrian skier and world-cup racer, who had been experiencing pain since his crash in Turracher Hoehe, Austria, promised his physiotherapist that, if his pains eased up by January 9, 2007, he would ski naked. They did. So he did.
Sprinter Could Be Stripped Of Title Due To Failed Gender Test
Indian runner Santhi Soundarajan won the silver medal at the Asian Games in the women's 800 meters earlier this month. On Monday, according to reports, Soundarajan's medal is in jeopardy of being taken away because she isn't a woman. Soundarajan took and failed a gender test in Doha, Qatar after the victory.
Colleges Turn To Personal Coaches To Help Their Student Body
Some students in universities have a full time job, and a family life besides dealing with the demands of college. So, Northeastern University has decided to offer personal coaches to their students. Heather Parsons a student at the university who was been helped by personal coach, Chris Tilghman tells the AP, "It was so easy, taking a step back from the emotions surrounding the issue... Hearing a third person made all the difference."
