New Yorker Claims World Record For Maximum Squat Thrusts On Elephant Back

Ashrita Furman, a 52-year-old man from New York claims to have set yet another world record. Well known for setting as many as 54 bizarre world records, Furman is claiming another entry in the Guinness Book of World Records by doing the maximum squat thrusts in one minute.

But the beauty of Furman's recent record lies in its duality. Not only did he do maximum squats, he performed the feat on the back of an elephant.

Duckling With Rare Four Legs Born At Hampshire Farm

Stumpy, the eight-days-old duckling, stands discrete from the rest of the members of his family. The chicken has born with a rare mutation that has left him with an extra pair of full-sized legs.

"It was absolutely bizarre. I was thinking 'he's got too many legs' and I kept counting 'one, two, three, four,'" Nicky Janaway, a duck farmer in New Forest, Hampshire, said as she showed the duckling to reporters.

Police See A Rise In Strange Crimes During The Holiday Season

According to U.S. police, there has been a sudden increase in extraordinary crimes over the Christmas season, which included snowman stabbers and drunk float drivers.

One such person, David Allen Rodgers, 42, was arrested on Dec. 3 for driving while intoxicated. He was at the wheel of a float during the annual Christmas parade in Anderson, South Carolina, when he sped down the street in a float with 19 people aboard, ran a red light and led police on a 3-mile chase.
