Chinese Jail-Themed Teahouse Criticized For Corrupting Youth

Critics lambasted a teahouse designed as a jail for being a danger in corrupting young minds. The recently opened venue has been enjoying success with the locals.

The teahouse is complete with cells, locks and wardens. Waitresses donned in female police officer attire lock customers up in cells that with fictional names of inmates and the crimes they committed.

PETA Outraged Over Dead Pig Performance Art

A spokeswoman for People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) has described a live art performance scheduled to take place in a English art gallery as "sick." In the performance piece, called "Inthewrongplaceness," a naked woman cradles a dead pig for four hours.

Reuters reports the PETA spokeswoman said Kira O'Reilly's show "seems to depend on the shock of using a murdered pig as a prop" and that O'Reilly, "perhaps lacking the talent to make it as a proper artist," should take up a day job instead.

World's Oldest Condom On Display In Austria

A museum in Austria has put on display a condom made from pig intestine. The Tirolean County Museum said it is the oldest surviving condom in the world.

Museum curators said the reusable condom dates back to 1640. It is complete with the original users manual that is written in Latin.

9-Yr-Old's Pig Fetches A Whopping $51,000

Lacey Washut's prized pig fetched a hefty price during an auction in the Central Wyoming Fair. C & Y Transportation bid $200 per pound for the 255-pound pig resulting to a record $51,000.

According to Washut's mother, Chaynee, the company failed to realize its huge bid and renegotiating with 4-H officials to lower the price.
