A 48-year-old man from San Diego, California broke the previous world record for stationary cycling by more than 11 hours Sunday, completing a session that lasted 96 hours, 4 minutes and 8 seconds.

Pete Maisel spent his 48th birthday with his his girlfriend, Wendy Gardiner but in a different way than previous years. His goal for the non stop peddling was to raise money for a couple charitable causes and an upcoming bike trek.

A man and a woman imprisoned in an Ivory Coast jail dated and fell in love through a peephole in an iron door. According to one of their jailers they decided to get married and were released for a few hours for a wedding.

Esa Ruuttunen suffered a concussion and a broken nose from the accident. The squirrel did not survive.

According to Police, a man stabbed two homeowners, Saturday, when he was caught fleeing after a theft attempt. The man, who was trying to steal tomatoes from the garden of the injured homeowners, faces robbery and assault charges.

Police reports said Elmer Pace, 53, was in the garden stealing tomatoes when he was spotted by the homeowners. Pace was chased by Mark and Mick Daggy after fleeing on a bicycle. Police said Pace stabbed Mark Daggy in the left side and slashed Mick Daggy across the wrist.
