The mayor of the western town of Lupeni in Romania is offering the top player of his second division football team in exchange for a gas pipeline, ananova.com reports.

The report said that mayor Cornel Rasmerita, who is also the head of the Minerul football team disclosed that he is willing to sell his key goalkeeper Christian Belgradean to first division team Jiul for something his town needs.

Leaky Pipe Leads To Hidden Room

The search for the source of a leaky water pipe led to the discovery of a hidden room at a former hotel in West Virginia that might have been shut for years. The underground room is about 10 feet wide, 18-20 feet long and about 7 feet in height, with wooden cabinets lining one wall and a vintage toilet behind a partition.

The room was discovered by a maintenance worker who was knocking down a wall to locate the faulty pipes in the decades old building.

Acting city Mayor Reinaldo Bautista Jr said some Korean entrepreneurs have pledged to invest in snow-blowing machines that would be deployed atop buildings to produce snowflakes that would fall on downtown Baguio.
